Anne gets an assist from the heavens
As Anne finishes reading the task brief, it immediately starts raining.
Anne initially can’t find the shower, and walks over to the bathtub, hoping the shower is there. Since it is raining so heavily, she thanks god, and suggests that she won’t need to actually do anything herself, as the bathtub is already filling up. She then finally spots the shower up on the balcony.
Anne drapes a load of fabric around her shoulders, and also takes off her wellington boots (gum boots), allowing them to fill up with water. She also holds up the shower cap to collect water.
When Anne comments that the water tastes funny, Tom Cashman tells her not to drink it.
As the shower finishes, Anne puts her boots back on, and puts on the shower cap, and then walks over to the bath. She empties everything into it, getting a decent amount from the boots, but very little from the fabric she’d been wearing. She also wrings the water out of her socks.
In the studio, when Tom Gleeson points out that Lloyd and Anne live in the same household, and that neither of them could find the shower, Anne claims that they don’t have showers, but use a hose in the garden instead.
When Tom Gleeson asks if the torrential rain had turned out to be an advantage for Anne, she says “You can’t blame me for an act of god.”
Despite an assist from the heavens, Anne only manages to get 2.28 litres of water into the bath, and earns 2 points.
