Ellu demonstrates her athleticism
Ellu initially believes she only gets one attempt at launching the duck. However, after retrieving an ice hockey stick and a few balls from the shed, she re-reads the task brief and is relieved to find that she is not, in fact, limited to a single attempt.
After warning Pilvi to stand back, Ellu uses the hockey stick to shoot the duck from behind the rope. While the distance is impressive, the duck lands in some nearby grass.
Ellu sprints to retrieve the duck and attempt another shot, and this one lands directly in the middle of the paddling pool. An elated Ellu throws the stick and starts jumping around in celebration.
In the studio, Ellu claims that she’d wanted to show ice hockey “what it was missing”, as she had opted to become a professional boxer rather than a professional hockey player. Jaakko jokes that Ellu had demonstrated good control over her emotions in the aftermath of her shot.
Ellu completes the task in 1 minute and 21 seconds, and earns second place. Jaakko also awards her a bonus point for her celebration.
