Josh smashes a bottle over his own head

Josh stands up, holding a bottle, and says that he’s brought in an “ordinary bottle”. The audience laugh nervously, and Tom Gleeson notes that they had given Josh a “sympathy ‘ooh!’”.

Josh then says “Wveryone hates my bottle. I’ve been a stupid boy!” and hits himself over the head with the bottle. As the bottle (which is clearly made of sugar glass) smashes, the audience responds with a genuine “ooh!”. Josh then slowly and dramatically falls to the floor.

Tom Cashman suggests that Josh has done what the Taskmaster has been wanting to do for a while. Josh begins to respond that surely everyone wants to smash a bottle, before realising that Tom was specifically referring to smashing a bottle over Josh’s head.

Josh wins the task and earns 5 points.
