Heikki and Maija experiment in body modification
Heikki picks up the mannequin (which he later names ‘Maija’), and her arm immediately falls off. Heikki is able to easily put her back together, explaining to Pilvi that he used to work in a clothing store, and is very familiar with mannequins.
Heikki and Maija head outside, where it is raining lightly, and he dances with her, singing (in English) improvised lyrics to the tune of Singing in the Rain about their dance. When their dance finishes, Heikki and Maija retire to a nearby picnic table for a (fake) cigarette break.
Heikki and Maija then head to the nearby pier, where he lowers Maija into the water on her back. He then announces his intent to join her, and sits on her like she is a raft. He immediately regrets his decision, though, as the water is incredibly cold, so he and Maija head back to land (although Maija does not arrive in one piece).
Heikki then takes Maija to the shed, where he finds two short boards of wood, and tapes them where her arms should be, happy to provide her with arms which are more easily movable than her original ones.
Heikki and the still-broken Maija then return to the living room. Heikki seats Maija at the table, places the typewriter in front of her, and assists her in writing her memoirs, ‘The Epic Memoirs of Mannequin Maija’s Epic Adventure’.
Jaakko ultimately awards everyone joint first place.
