Joonas rides the Länsimetro

Joonas picks up the mannequin, acknowledging the awkwardness of his chosen hand placement, as he holds the mannequin by the crotch to carry her. He heads outside and into a production car, where he props the top half of his mannequin up, looking out of an open window in the back seat, “so she can see the scenery”.

As Joonas drives away from the mansion, he voices his concern that there is not much in the vicinity of the house, and worries that he has made a bad decision. However, Joonas manages to drive to a more urban area of Helsinki in his allotted time, and rushes with the mannequin into the metro, intending to go for a ride.

As Joonas, Pilvi, and the mannequin wait for the metro to arrive, Joonas admires how “fancy” the new platforms of the Länsimetro are (the Länsimetro, or ‘Western Metro’, is an extension to Helsinki’s main metro line, which opened in 2017). The three enter the train when it appears, to find that all of the carriages are completely empty. As they travel, Joonas jokingly observes that the Länsimetro was obviously an excellent investment, as it is clearly heavily used.

Jaakko ultimately awards everyone joint first place. He also awards Joonas a bonus point for “going truly outside of the box” (presumably because he left the mansion grounds), before telling Joonas that he is aware that he had planned to take the mannequin home with him, before running out of time. Jaakko also jokes that everyone is lucky that Joonas’ time had run out, as he does not want to think about what might have happened, otherwise.
