Pamela is frightened of eggs
A clearly uncertain Pamela makes her way to the shed in search of something to help her complete the task, ultimately choosing a butterfly net. She then returns to Pilvi and the eggs, voicing her suspicion that the entire endeavour is “doomed”.
Pamela hesitantly starts to shake the pole, wary of what may fall off of the top, and fearing that the eggs may break on her head. Nevertheless, she continues to gently shake the pole and then attempts and fails to catch the falling eggs in her net until the plate is empty.
Fortuitously for Pamela, the final egg that drops from the top of the pole lands on a thick enough patch of grass that it does not break, and Pamela claims this as a victory, proclaiming that one successfully retrieved egg is “a lot”.
For retrieving a single intact egg without breaking any rules, Pamela earns fourth place.
