Josh’s little green duck

Josh brings in a little green duck which a young boy who’d attended Josh’s show had given to him, via a sound technician.

He doesn’t know why the boy had wanted him to have the duck, but he thinks he would be excited to see the duck on TV. Josh acknowledges that his prize submission isn’t an exact reaction to the prompt, but he claims that it’s “filmic”.

When Tom Gleeson posits that Josh wants to make a film about a tiny duck because he’d forgotten to thank the young boy, Josh acknowledges that his choice is targeted at just one person, and if he makes that person’s day, then he’ll feel okay about it.

When Lloyd argues that he thinks the little duck could carry a film, Josh says it’s a shame that it hadn’t carried the segment more.

Josh earns 2 points.
