Emma fixates on Tamzin Outhwaite

Not much is shown of Emma’s methodology for memorising the mannequin heads’ names.

In the lab, she correctly recalls the names of Blanket, Chisel, Reggie, Gordo, and Trev. She struggles to remember Izzy’s name, saying she can’t stop thinking of the actor Tamzin Outhwaite.

Having read the task brief for the second part of the task in the living room, she decides to take her gloves off for the challenge.

She correctly identifies The Colonel, Chisel, Dina, Trev, Reggie, and Blanket. She still can’t remember Izzy, again naming her “Tamzin Outhwaite”, and initially believes that Grillsy is an entirely new character.

Emma then starts checking the mannequin heads for clues, before taking a stab at “Jemima” as one of their names. She then spots Chisel’s Polaroid photograph on the shelf beneath Greg’s portrait, which prompts her to search the rest of the room for more photos. She finds all 10 Polaroids just in time to be able to correctly name all of the mannequin heads before Alex’s whistle.

Having completed the task, she states that she’s glad she removed her gloves at the start, since she “needed to be bare”.

In the studio, Greg says that Emma’s attempt had been genuinely impressive before she’d even cracked Alex’s “nerdy little system”.

Emma wins the task and earns 5 points.
