Emma recreates Klimt’s The Kiss

Emma recreates Gustav Klimt’s famous artwork The Kiss on the floor of the lab, using a variety of items found around the house, including a tarp, some yellow fabric, the shiny golden backdrop which previously appeared in series 17’s ‘Create a shiny floor American game show‘ task, some gold tinsel, some artificial flowers, some cut-up pieces of coloured paper, a mannequin head, and three mannequin hands.

In the studio, before the reveal of the final artworks, Greg states that he already recognises exactly which painting Emma is recreating. Once the final recreation is revealed, everyone is suitably impressed, and Greg has to reluctantly admit that’s it’s really good.

When Alex points out that the original artwork by Klimt had “sparked a sexual revolution”, and asks Greg whether he thinks Emma’s recreation will do the same, Greg thinks for a moment before stating that he isn’t feel anything yet.

Frustrated that every contestant had done a really good job in the task, Greg reluctantly acknowledges that he'll have to give everyone a lot of points, and then just “hope they fuck up the next task”. He awards everyone 5 points.
