Emma roleplays herself

Emma spots that there are potential clues all around the dome, and so begins to investigate. She begins by removing one of the triangular yellow warning signs from the wall and looking at the back of it, but finds nothing there.

Emma then finds the ‘safe list’ but fails to spot the connection between the names. She decides to cut the green wire because the name ‘Gordon’ is on the list. Emma then opens the bottle of wine and tastes it, stating that it’s “awful” before going in for a second mouthful.

Returning to the ‘safe list’ she then decides to cut the blue wire based on the fact that the name ‘Dan’ is on the list, and has three letters, and the blue wire is the third wire down. The robot spews yellow powder into the dome, making her scream in response.

In the studio, after Greg characterises Babatunde and Emma as “cannon fodder”, and suggests that neither of them had understood the task, Emma attempts to argue that she was “roleplaying being a woman drinking wine, cutting wires”, but Alex retorts that that’s just exactly what she was doing. She is disqualified from the task and earns no points.
