Everyone tries to guess Quentin’s job

Andy starts out by asking “Have you drawn blood at work?”, to which the answer is “Yes”, and which quite quickly narrows down the range of jobs that Quentin might be engaged in.

Babatunde follows up with “Do you chase people?”, to which Quentin responds “No”, before Greg states that they will discuss his choice of question later.

Emma asks the much more relevant “Do you work in medicine?”, to which the answer is “Yes”.

Jack then narrows down the field further by asking “Are you a surgeon?”, to which the answer is also “Yes”. Alex clarifies that the contestants will need to find a more specific answer.

Rosie then asks “Are you a brain surgeon?”, which Quentin is not. Quentin also indicates that he is not a veterinary surgeon or heart surgeon, when asked by Andy and Babatunde, respectively. At this point, Greg steps in to note that Quentin’s job title doesn’t actually include the word ‘surgeon’.

Emma then asks the vague “Do you do lots of different things in your job every day?”, which Quentin indicates he does.

Jack then asks if he’s a GP, which he is not, and Rosie follows up with “Do you work with other humans?”, which he does.

Andy asks Quentin “Are you an anaesthetist?”, which he is not, and then Babatunde asks him whether he is sat down throughout his shift, which he is not.

Emma then asks Quentin if he’s an obstetrician, which prompts Quentin to say “No” in a way that indicates that she is very close. This provides Jack with the opportunity to ask “Are you a gynaecologist?”, which he is.

Jack therefore wins the task and 5 points, while no-one else earns anything.
