Rosie shakes the ropes

Trying to find a way to investigate the ropes without actually pulling them, Rosie asks if she’s permitted to shake them instead. She then shakes several of the ropes, while insisting to Alex that “I’m not pulling it!”.

Observing that all of the ropes “feel quite light”, Rosie then re-reads the task brief before looking around and spotting the doorbell on the wall behind her.

Having rung the doorbell, Rosie turns to Alex and states “I’m good at this. I’m very good.”

In the studio, Greg ironically points to Rosie’s departing comment as “another example of your crushingly low self-esteem”. When Rosie responds by challenging him to argue with her, he promptly asks her why she’d spent ages shaking the ropes. Rosie responds to this by pointing out that “You need to get some footage”.

Greg is unwilling to let Rosie’s rope-shaking strategy lie, but Emma backs Rosie up, insisting that it was a good idea, because it allowed her to feel if there was a bell on the other end. After Greg eventually figures out what Rosie’s intention had been, Emma sternly tells him “You need to wake up, mate.”

Rosie earns 5 points for ringing a bell without pulling any ropes.
