Emma turns South African

Like Rosie, Emma ends up with the first fortune in her mouth, after biting the cookie.

Her first fortune cookie instructs her to laugh for 30 seconds, which she does while eating the rest of the cookie and keeping track of time on her watch.

Her second fortune cookie instructs her to say the word ‘yes’ for 30 seconds, so she again keeps track of time while repeating the word over and over.

Emma’s third fortune cookie instructs her to keep one eye shut for the rest of the task, but Alex has to remind her about this after she quickly forgets.

Her fourth fortune instructs her to put all of the remaining cookies into a bowl of hot salty water. Having done so and waited the requisite 30 seconds, she pulls one out and complains about how “slimy” they’ve become. She then has to remove her gloves to unfold the fortune inside, since it is stuck together.

The fifth and final fortune instructs Emma to place all of the remaining cookies into a bowl of vinegar, so she does as she’s told and again keeps track of time on her watch, while eating the rest of the cookie.

Having finished eating the last fragments of the cookie, she then tells Alex to “Stop the clock” in a voice which Greg is quick to point out, in the studio, made her sound like she was suddenly South African.

Alex reveals that Emma completed the task in 4 minutes and 23 seconds, so she wins the task and earns 5 points.
