Jack’s hollowed-out book
Jack brings in a book titled ‘The Colin Phillips Book of Information’. As he tells Greg to take a look at the book, Alex insists that it is “a genuine book” (which it does not appear to be).
Greg opens the book to discover that the pages have been hollowed out to perfectly accommodate a Phillips screwdriver.
When Jack asks Greg if he knows why the screwdriver is in the book, Greg suggests that it could be used to escape from prison. Jack responds by suggesting that “metaphorically”, Greg is already scratching his chin. He then claims that in the introduction to the book, the author explains how he is loosely related to the man who developed the Phillips-head screwdriver, and that this hollowed-out copy of the book was a promotional version.
Greg doesn’t look entirely convinced or impressed, but scratches his chin anyway, and then awards Jack 3 points.
