Rosie covets the optometry chair
Having sat down in the optometry chair, Rosie says “Oh, I like this”, before asking Alex “Can I have it?”. When Alex refuses to give it to her, she tries to convince him by desperately saying the word “Please” at him.
Having read the task brief, she instantly pivots her body and grabs the lens-holding device attached to the chair, positioning her face so she is looking through the lenses. However, Alex tells her that this device is not a pair of glasses.
She then uses her fingers to create an imaginary pair of glasses on her face, and asks Alex whether that counts as the ‘special glasses’ (it doesn’t).
After confessing that she doesn’t understand the task at all, she then tips the plinth over and looks inside the base of it, before asking why the object was even in the room. She then investigates the top of the plinth, noting that it probably comes off, and then warning Alex that he knows she’s strong, “so if I break this, that’s on you”.
Having removed the top of the plinth, Rosie finds the special glasses within and then puts them on, yelling “Yeah baby!”. The frames of Rosie’s glasses are shaped like a pair of cocktail glasses with paper umbrellas in them, and painted with a pink-orange gradient.
In the studio, Alex reveals that Rosie had put on her special glasses after 5 minutes and 24 seconds, which earns her 4 points.
