Hayley gives her blocks full back stories

As she arrives, Hayley greets Paul by saying “Hello rainy Paul, on a ball”, and Paul replies with “Hello rainy Hayley, on the lawn”, prompting Hayley to say it’s a shame he couldn’t get it to rhyme.

The instruction on Hayley’s first removed block is to “Give the next three blocks a name and introduce them to Paul.” She first introduces Diane, stating that she is very “well to do”. She then introduces Paulette, who she says is Diane’s sister, and she is also quite fancy (and also racist). Hayley’s third introduction is to Gavin, who she says is “down-and-out” (something Paul admits he can empathise with).

The next blocks that Hayley removes from the tower instruct her to remove a yellow and then an orange block. She is then instructed to remove a block while performing high kicks. As she removes the next block, the tower topples.

In the studio, Jeremy highlights how Hayley had not only given her blocks names, but also full personalities and back stories. Hayley notes that although Paulette was racist, she would invite you into her home if you were brown, but she would insist on taking a photo. When Madeleine says that this is very triggering and begins to walk off the stage, Hayley (as Paulette) says she’ll make a sandwich, which prompts Madeleine to return, saying she’ll do anything for free food.

It’s revealed that Hayley had removed 18 blocks before the tower toppled, so she comes third and earns 3 points.
