Abby recreates her standing ovation

Abby reveals that then best moment of her life was when she’d played the Lion in a high school production of The Wizard of Oz. She claims that at the end of the performance, she’d gotten the biggest cheer, and that her mum had told her afterwards that she really needed to tone it down a bit.

When Paul suggests that perhaps the other cast members might have thought they’d gotten bigger cheers than Abby, she responds that “It was the Lion’s show, baby. Everyone knew it.”

For her recreation, a stage is set up with a gold velour curtain. Dramatic music is played, accompanied by chants of “Lion! Lion!” from the audience. Abby, dressed as the Lion, bursts through the curtain, and receives a standing ovation from the audience (consisting solely of Paul).

Roses are then thrown at Abby, and she puts one in her mouth and does an impression of a lion, ready to pounce. Abby then leaves the stage, and the music ends, but we hear Paul chanting “More Lion! More Lion!”.

Abby pokes her head back through the curtain and asks “Did somebody say more Lion?”. The music then resumes, and the audience claps, cheers, and continues to chant “Lion!” while Abby drinks in their appreciation.

In the studio, Jeremy says that if that was a true reflection of what actually happened, he can understand what Abby’s mother was saying. He goes on to say he has never seen someone so happy with themselves.

When Ben asks Abby if she’d used the same voice as the actor in the original movie, Abby confirms that she had, and then does an impression of him saying “Put ‘em up. Put ‘em up!”.

Abby wins the task and earns 5 points.
