Hayley uses tongs and a mouth funnel

Hayley reaches her hand through the hole and up the wall, and tries to throw the marshmallow from there, but ends up throwing it in the wrong direction.

After complaining that her arms are too short, she asks for something she can use to help hold the marshmallows, and Paul suggests that there might be tongs in the kitchen. Since she has to wear the zoom goggles throughout the task, Hayley asks Paul to lead her to the kitchen, where she finds some tongs.

Returning to the wall with her tongs, Hayley attempts to use them to help her reach up over the top of the wall and drop marshmallows into her mouth, but is unsuccessful.

She then decides to create a funnel for her mouth by rolling a large sheet of paper into a cone. She is then easily able to drop a marshmallow into her mouth.

It’s not revealed exactly how many attempts Hayley took at the task (although it was at least seven, based on the footage shown), but she is disqualified for dropping the marshmallow, rather than throwing it.
