Tofiga makes Paul bring the study to him

In a flash of genius lateral thinking, Tofiga realises that he could move the desk and chair from the study into the lab to meet the requirements of the task.

In a characteristically lazy move, he asks Paul to move the desk and chair for him, though. While Paul struggles to relocate the furniture alone, Tofiga waits in the lab, playing with the noise-activated lamp. Tofiga only offers to help Paul once he’s already reached the entrance to the lab. Paul even brings the rug from the study down, during one of several trips.

Once the desk has been set up in the lab, the green desk lamp is placed on the desk, and Tofiga takes the seat at the desk. After Paul tells him when to turn the lamp on, Tofiga very casually does so, before asking Paul to move all of the furniture back up to the study.

Despite having spotted such an effective loophole solution to the task, the relocation of the furniture was so time-consuming that Tofiga completes the task after 28 minutes and 28 seconds, earning just 2 points.
