Tofiga laments losing 10 minutes of his life

Tofiga begins his attempt by looking through Paul’s manila folder and asking him who the people in the photos are, and why he has them. When Paul states that they are his Annas, Tofiga replies “Your Annas?”.

When Tofiga asks Paul what sort of plant is on the table, Paul shares that it’s a Venus flytrap, and explains that it traps flies. Tofiga asks if it only traps flies, sharing that he was wondering if Paul had wanted to trap Anna Paquin. He also points out the fork and questions how that might be involved in Paul’s plan.

When Paul asks if Tofiga is enjoying himself, he claims that it’s probably his favourite task of all time, but laments that his family is not there with him to witness it.

After Paul lets Tofiga know he has just 4 minutes and 20 seconds left, Tofiga starts to eat the chocolate bar, arguing that it might help. When Paul points out that the chocolate still needs to be part of the ordered items, Tofiga says he’ll save a little bit of it for that.

After confirming with Paul that he doesn't have to explain his chosen order is, he randomly swaps the items around, at one point accidentally managing to get three of them in the correct order, before Paul blows his whistle.

Tofiga argues that it was quite a “stink task” and that it was 10 minutes of his life he can never get back, which he could have spent with his kids. He then picks up the remaining piece of chocolate and leaves the lab with it.

In the studio, Jeremy asks Paul if he would like to apologise to Tofiga’s kids. After Hayley comments that it was a heartfelt apology, Paul ‘sneezes’ and then states “Sorry, I’m just having a flare-up” (referring to his allergy to Hayley’s “bullshit”, which was revealed during her attempt at this task), thus coining the episode title.

Matt, representing Tofiga, states that “We at Team Tofiga, we don’t approve of that task.” He then teams up with Hayley and Ben, who’d also failed the task, in an attempt to boycott the task and have it stricken from the record. When Jeremy states that none of them are getting any points, Matt claims that they’re choosing not to take any points. However, when Jeremy asks if they’d legitimately turn down any points he offered them for the task, Matt is quick to ask how many are on offer.

Tofiga does not complete the task, and so earns no points.
