Abby teaches a muddled moral lesson

Abby is the only contestant who decides to opt to teach Paul a moral lesson.

Paul is seen walking along the path through the wooded area of the property. Abby, dressed as a witch with a broom and a horrible-looking mask, stops Paul in his tracks and asks him to answer her questions three, which are: “Is your name Paul?”; “Do you like to party?”; and “Do you think I’m beautiful?”. Paul answers “yes” to all three questions, though he does pause for a while on the last one.

Abby then starts to spin around and removes her witch costume, before telling Paul that he has freed her because he could see that she was beautiful on the inside.

She then gets a bit lost in her own moral tale, and starts talking about how telling the truth is a good thing, to which Paul responds that when he’d answered the question about her being beautiful, he’d felt like he was lying.

Abby notes that she might not have necessarily been expecting this, but that the magic had worked out anyway. She also adds that it’s important to be kind because you don’t know what people are going through.

In the studio, the discussion gets quite confused, and no-one is really sure what the moral lesson was, with Paul concluding that “ugly people are gross” and that maybe you should lie if you’re going to hurt someone’s feelings.

Abby earns just 1 point.
