Hayley threatens to murder Paul

Hayley picks up her egg and asks Paul to show her his catapult.
She then goes up to the study and places her egg on top of a vase on the table. As she leaves the room to fetch supplies, she tells Paul that if he touches the egg, she will murder him. While she is out of the room, Paul gets up and, looking directly into the camera, gently touches the egg, claiming “I don’t respond well to threats”.
Hayley returns to the study and kisses her egg, wishing it good luck before wrapping it up. After throwing it up in the air and catching it, she says “That wasn’t good”, and proceeds to wrap the egg up further.
Hayley then takes her wrapped egg to the catapult, confidently stating “This baby ain’t getting smashed”. After being fired from the catapult, the egg remains intact.
As she walks away from the scene, Hayley tells Paul to enjoy his egg, before asking if he’s going to poach, fry, or scramble it. When Paul responds “I go raw”, Hayley says “Like a real man”. Paul then takes a bite of the raw egg, shell and all.
In the studio, Jeremy tells Paul off for eating the raw egg, stating that this is not the first time he has done that on the show (referring to Paul’s action at the end of Ray O’Leary’s attempt at the ‘Roll an egg from the desk to your locker’ task).
Jeremy then asks Hayley how she felt now, knowing that Paul had touched her egg, reminding her that she’d said that she would murder him. Hayley confirms that this remained the plan, but that she’ll wait until the end of the series.
Hayley earns 4 points for protecting her egg.
