Tofiga tells a story about a man eating his own dog

For his drink, Tofiga initially spots the miniature champagne bottle on the desk and plans to drink that. However, Paul then points out to him that it is actually a party popper and that, while he could drink it, it would just be a mouthful of small pieces of paper.
Tofiga performs a little dance behind the desk, before taking a drink from a champagne flute, and then kissing his own hand.
Tofiga’s resolution is to “Continue to spread the love”, so he asks Paul how he can share love with him, before offering to read him a story. Tofiga then sings Paul the following story, while Paul provides a beat by clicking his fingers:
Once upon a time there was this man
He had a dog, and it was a German Shepherd
He took it for a walk down to the park
The man said, hey, no dogs allowed
Why don’t you read the sign?
The man said I can read it, but my dog can’t
Tofiga then stops singing, but explains that afterwards the men had hot dogs, and because the dog was old, he died, and they cut it up.
When Paul comments that this was quite a sad ending to the story, Tofiga explains that the man was sharing the love because of the cost of living is expensive.
In the studio, Jeremy says that eating the dog was a bit intense for a 7:30 TV2 audience, so he awards Tofiga just 2 points.
