Abby perves on Paul and visits Dork Town

When Abby enters the room and comments on there being some “‘stumes”, Paul questions this, and she has to explain that it’s short for ‘costumes’.

Abby begins by wearing the goggles as Paul comes out of his cubicle wearing the apron. She then opts for the fedora while Paul dons the boots.

Abby then puts on the X-ray glasses and has a little dance while waiting for Paul to appear. When Paul comes out wearing the collar and asks Abby if she’d been watching him change, she slips off the X-ray glasses and winks into the camera while saying “No…”.

Abby next opts to wear the Viking helmet, grabbing the horns and rocking about. When Paul comes out of his changing room wearing the eye-patch, Abby says “Ah, we’re getting there, I feel like”. When Paul asks her what her Viking name is, she says “Craig”.

The next mismatch we see is Abby wearing the umbrella hat and Paul wearing the mask. Abby comments that Paul is “going to the masquerade”, and when Paul attempts to reciprocate about her choice of accessory, saying “going to…”, she finishes his line by saying “to Dork Town”.

Abby goes back to wearing the X-ray glasses, while Paul comes out wearing the neckerchief. Abby comments that the neckerchief is “beautiful”, before looking Paul up and down while slowly repeating “beautiful…”.

Next, Abby goes back to wearing the umbrella hat, and when Paul emerges in the overalls, he asks her “Back to Dork Town?”. Paul then comes out wearing the Panama hat, but we don’t see what Abby has chosen.

Abby then returns again to wearing the X-ray glasses. When Paul asks, from inside his changing room, if that is what she has chosen to wear again, she says “No” and briefly takes them off. When Paul then comes out wearing the top hat, Abby explains that she just can’t stop wearing the glasses.

From the changing room, Paul then asks Abby if she is going to go back to the umbrella hat. She says no, and opts instead to wear the zebra hat, just as Paul comes out wearing the umbrella hat. Paul next wears the Viking helmet, while Abby returns once more to the X-ray specs, claiming “They drew me in again”.

Abby then puts on the Y-fronts, while Paul comes out wearing the watch. Abby then goes back to the X-ray glasses yet again, but this time she and Paul finally match.

In the studio, Hayley states that Abby’s tactic of alternating between two items had been a good one, although both Paul and Abby then point out the two items she had chosen to alternate between had started with the letters ‘X’ and ‘U’.

Paul confirms that Abby had worn the X-ray glasses nine times, and had gone to “Dork Town” four times. Jeremy asks Abby where her autistic superpower of pattern recognition was during this task.

Abby finally matched Paul after 24 attempts, which earns her 2 points
