Ben’s wig-based rock biopic

Ben list includes season 4 contestant Dai Henwood, and the twentieth name on his list is Matt Cameron (the drummer from Pearl Jam and Soundgarden). In the studio, Paul reveals that Ben had included a total of six previous Taskmaster NZ contestants on his list.
In his biopic, Ben enters the kitchen dressed as Matt Cameron, and asks his dad (also played by Ben, wearing a hat) what he is doing. There are four pans upside-down on the kitchen worktop, and the father character says he is cooking, because “men cook too”. The father then tells Matt that, one day, he’ll also find something that he is passionate about. Matt then begins to tap his foot in time with the food mixer, before picking up some chopsticks and starting to hit the pans with them.
Matt is then seen wearing a long blonde wig and walking through the garden, saying “Man, I’m such a good drummer now”. He states that he just needs to find a cool band, with a cool name. After looking up at the sky and hearing birds twittering, he says “Wow. There’s so many… sounds in this garden.”
Matt is then seen sitting behind a small drum kit at the side of the house, where he is approached by Chris Cornell (also played by Ben, wearing a long brunette wig). Both men then claim to be the lead singer of Soundgarden, before Chris Cornell announces that it’s time to break the band up so he can embark on a “pretty average solo career”. This prompts Matt Cameron to scream and knocks over his drum kit, before swigging from a bottle and claiming “I’ll never drum again!”.
Eddie Vedder then walks in (played by Ben in a different shirt and brunette wig), and sings “Would you like to be in my band called Pearl Jam Again?”. Matt shouts “Yes” and he throws his drumsticks, as the biopic ends.
In the studio, Jeremy states that there is a lot to unpack, before describing it as a “wig-based production”. He also says that Ben’s Eddie Vedder impersonation was “inspired”.
Jeremy ultimately decides that Ben’s biopic was “outstanding”, and awards him 5 points.
