Pirjo makes a raw cake

Pirjo wanders towards the house, voicing her confusion to Pilvi, and looking over the task brief again in search of a clue that can help her understand the task.

She goes to the kitchen and searches the refrigerator, voicing her belief that the task is not instructing them to make an actual cake from scratch.

Pirjo continues her search, turning her attention to the kitchen cupboards, crying out in joy when she finds a bag of flour – and failing to see the pre-packaged cake base two shelves above her.

Pirjo fills a paper coffee filter with some of the makings of a cake – flour, whipped cream, and what appears to be strawberry jam – before quickly placing it on the kitchen floor and sitting on it.

In the studio, Jaakko questions if Pirjo actually made a cake (he calls it “a paper filter filled with some kind of goo”). Pirjo defends her effort by claiming that in today’s “modern world”, a raw cake could still be considered a cake, and that she had essentially just made one in a larger version of a muffin cup.

Pirjo sits on a cake after 4 minutes and 31 seconds, and earns last place.
