Tofiga waits until later in the filming schedule

When Paul begins reading his instructions to Tofiga over the radio with “Charlie Oscar”, Tofiga responds with “Hello Charlie! Do you know where Paul is?”. When Paul then continues “November”, Tofiga responds with “January, February, March”.

Tofiga then listens, silently, to the rest of the message, before heading out to the balcony, and shouting down to Paul in the caravan, “So the fastest loses?”.

Tofiga decides to wait for just a bit before binning his plane, so he and Paul get their lunches and eat them on the balcony together. When Tofiga states that the vegetarian option is “unbelievable”, Paul points out that he actually has chicken. Tofiga responds with “That’s a chicken? Wow, fooled me. I thought it was a cucumber.”

When Paul asks Tofiga when he thinks he will finish the task, he says “Not until later”, stating that he has to win this one. Nine weeks and six days later, he is filmed putting his plane into the bin, and states that he is confident that he has won the task.

In the studio, it is confirmed that Tofiga had completed the task in 69 days, 2 hours, 41 minutes, and 10 seconds, which earns him second place and 4 points.
