Tom reads the magic phrase

When Tom sees the lamp, he says “The genie’s about to come”, before adding “That’s not code.”
In the studio, Jeremy suggests to Tom that he just couldn’t resist saying the “genie comes” line. Tom responds that he loves a good genie, and then notes that this also isn’t code. Abby comments that “A genie comes if you rub it. Just like everyone else”, thus coining the episode title.
Back in the study, Tom picks up a key from the table and walks around, frantically saying “Oh! Oh! Oh!”. He goes to the lock on the bread bin but finds that it doesn't actually require a key.
He then goes back to the task brief and re-reads the line “Say the magic phrase while rubbing the lamp.” As he is stating that he needs to get the lamp out of the box, Paul stops the clock at just 13 seconds.
Tom earns 4 points.
