Everyone balances items on the table

In the first round, Abby starts by placing a wicker cat house on the table, which covers most of it. Ben then balances the umbrella on the edge of the table. Hayley darts to the front of the stage and picks up a tennis racquet, which she places on top of the cat house. Chris Parker then stuffs a lettuce inside the cat house, before Tom places a juggling club inside it. Abby then places the mannequin’s arm underneath the tennis racquet, before Ben stuffs the toy dog head-first into the cat house. When Hayley places the ukulele on top of the racquet, it slips a little, but everything remains on the table. Chris then goes to the front of the stage and stamps on the balloon to burst it, before placing its remnants on top of the pile. Tom pokes the stick of the garden windmill into the cat house, before Abby puts the cowboy hat on top. Ben then balances the broom, and Hayley carefully balances the toy accordion. Chris hangs the hula hoop from the broom handle, and then Tom shoves the handle of the violin into the cat house. Abby picks up the wig on the mannequin head, and the head drops to the stage. She places the wig on the pile and then quickly goes back for the head, managing to place it just in time. Ben then hangs the garden hose from the broom handle. Hayley picks up the musical chimes, but while trying to balance them on top of the pile, she knocks the umbrella off, and is therefore eliminated first, earning 1 point.

In the second round, the existing items remain on the table and the umbrella is back in play. Chris balances the bird cage on the end of the broom. Tom then picks up the pool noodle and tries balancing it on top of the mannequin’s head just managing to do so in time. Abby picks up the umbrella and places it back on the table, before Ben picks up the inflatable shark tries to balance it on the top of the pile. He lets go of it just as Paul blows his whistle, but the shark and the mannequin head then both fall, knocking almost everything else off the table as well. Ben is therefore eliminated second, and earns 2 points.

In the third round, Paul replaces the table with a smaller one. Chris begins by placing the popped balloon in the centre of the table. Tom then picks up one of the plastic bananas, unaware that it is attached by wire to the others. He manages to collect them all up and place them on the table in time. Abby then places the cowboy hat on top, before Chris balances the umbrella on top of the hat. Tom then balances the garden windmill on the rim of the hat, before Abby stands the juggling club up on the side of the table. Chris then picks up the lettuce and starts to pull it apart to spread over the other items, slightly knocking the juggling club in the process. While he manages to balance all of the lettuce, the juggling club falls off the table just after the whistle blows, so Chris is eliminated third, and earns Tofiga 3 points.

In the fourth round, the items remain on the table, and Tom places the toy dog on the top of the pile. Abby then puts the juggling club back where it fell from, before Tom slips the mannequin’s hand under the rim of the hat. Abby then picks up the tennis racquet and tries to balance it on top of the dog. She is almost successful, but the juggling club again falls off the table, so she is eliminated fourth and earns 4 points.

Tom Sainsbury wins the task and earns 5 points. As they all return to their seats, Hayley kicks the table.
