Aaron locks Tom inside the shed

After reading the task brief, Aaron immediately runs away from the cones. This is addressed in the studio by Tom Gleeson before we see Aaron’s attempt, and Aaron explains that he initially thought that he had to hide from the cones.

Aaron is then seen running to the shed, where he is shocked to find Tom Cashman waiting. Leaving the shed doors ajar, Aaron grabs some metal spikes and runs back towards the cones, asking himself “Why did I do that?”. Tom is shown pulling the shed doors closed, before Aaron returns with a padlock, and locks him in. When Tom asks whether he is locking him in, Aaron claims that he is just hiding cones.

Aaron looks very pleased with himself, as he asks Tom how much time is left, and Tom reveals that there are just 35 seconds before he starts searching. Aaron sarcastically tells Tom that he’s getting worried, before laughing silently and sticking his tongue out in Tom’s direction.

As Tom blows his whistle, Aaron leans casually on the fence. Tom can then be heard hitting the doors in an attempt to open them. After just a few pushes, Tom is then able to open the door, as the hinge itself breaks. Aaron, leaning on the fence, hides his head in his arms, as Tom briefly looks around and then runs towards the caravan.

As Tom quickly finds two cones stacked on top of one another, Aaron laments that he’d had plenty of time to hide those. Tom then runs through the wood and finds another two cones together.

As Tom then asks Aaron where he’d hidden the rest of the cones, Aaron changes the subject by accusing Tom of breaking the shed door. Tom replies that Aaron was the one who’d broken the door, because he’d put a lock on it.

As Tom then begins to run from the woods and across the lawn, he slips on some mud and falls over, much to Aaron’s delight, who says “I hope you’re not okay!”

Tom quickly finds another five cones in the trees near the car park, and announces that he has only one more to find. When Aaron again says that Tom had broken property in the process, Tom tells him to stop focusing on the property. Aaron then appeals to the production crew, asking them to call the owners of the property and let them know about the property damage.

After the time is up, Aaron tells Tom that he’d only put a padlock on the shed to make sure the property was secure. As he leaves the scene, he then says that they might not be able to show some of the footage because of “certain crimes” being committed, adding that it could be bad for Tom’s reputation.

In the studio, Tom Gleeson observed to Aaron that “You went from cat got the cream to humble pie very quickly.” Tom Cashman reveals that the owners of the property were informed about the damage to the shed, and they’d responded that it had been faulty for a while now, and so it was fine. Aaron responds to this by claiming that it was an “inside job”.

Tom Gleeson says he thinks that they were all very pleased that Aaron had made Lesser Tom fall over during his attempt, stating that this deserved an extra point.

Tom had found nine of Aaron’s 10 cones, so he earns just 1 point, but does earn a bonus point for making Tom fall over.
