The task brief is laid on the ground in the middle of a ring of 10 large traffic cones (colloquially known as ‘witches hats’), in front of the caravan. The brief for the task is as follows:
Hide these 10 witches hats on the Taskmaster retreat.
You have 10 minutes to hide them.
Tom will then have 10 minutes to search for them.
Most witches hats remaining hidden after Tom’s search, wins.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- Both the contestants and Tom Cashman are wearing chest-mounted GoPro cameras, to capture the action.
- Tom is waiting in the shed to begin searching for the cones.
- Although in essence this task is the same as the ‘Hide three fruits or vegetables from the Taskmaster’s assistant‘ task, it is categorised here as original due to the fact that it is much larger in scale, in every conceivable way: there are more items to hide; the items to hide are both much larger, and designed for optimal visibility; and the objects can be hidden anywhere on the grounds of the Taskmaster house.
