Task briefs

The briefs for the task are as follows:

Be humble as pie about your pie.

Each contestant will have 15 seconds to be humble about their pie.

Least humble about their pie will be eliminated.

The first speaker will begin on Tom’s whistle.

Be keen as mustard about your mustard.

Each contestant will have 15 seconds to be keen about their mustard.

Least keen about their mustard will be eliminated.

Be cool as a cucumber about your cucumber.

Each contestant will have 15 seconds to be cool about their cucumber.

Least cool about their cucumber will be eliminated.

Be smooth as silk about your silk.

Each contestant will have 15 seconds to be smooth about their silk.

Smoothest wins.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side on the stage, each behind a plinth upon which there is a top hat.
In each round, some variant on the specific object mentioned in the task brief is presented to each remaining contestant on a plate, underneath the top hat in front of them.
The contestants must reveal their object and then react to it according to the specific instructions for that round.
The task briefs for rounds after the first one are not shown being read in their entirety, so some of the instructions shown above are assumed, based on the format of the first one.
