Aaron retracts his retraction

After reading the task brief, Aaron notes that not about doing the best roasts, just a relevant one. When he asks if he can “go racial”, Tom Cashman points out that there’s nothing in the rules against it. Nervous, Aaron practises on Tom by saying “You stink, and you look like an idiot.”

Aaron calls the lamb “a goat, if it was ugly”, and describes the doll as a stupid baby with long hair. When presented with the photo of Pete Helliar, he doesn’t immediately recognise him. When Tom confirms who it is, Aaron claims that he didn’t recognise him because he’s no longer famous. He then adds “And guess what, Pete? You smell…”.

As the next cubicle collapses, knocking over the mannequin, Aaron shouts “Imagine breaking so easily!”. When the real man is revealed, and shares that his name is Joe, Aaron tells him to get a longer name.

In the studio, Aaron tries to retract his roast of Pete and shakes hands with him, but after Tom Gleeson reminds him that ruins the sting, Aaron backtracks and says “Pete sucks”.

Aaron’s average response time is 8.2 seconds, which earns him 5 points.
