Rhys has a full-blown mental breakdown

Rhys begins tentatively, admitting they are a terrible roaster. When the lamb is revealed, they manage “Lamb — better eaten than alive”, and then ask if that counts.

They lean on the plinth in distress when presented with the doll, claiming that they’re having a “full-blown mental breakdown”, but eventually insulting its hair. They claim that Pete’s picture is the best photo they’ve ever seen of him.

They then claim that the mannequin reminds them of themself without a wig, and also that it reminds them of Tom Cashman, because both are “completely non-descript and bringing nothing to the situation.” They feel bad, upon seeing the real man in the next cubicle, and say that he does look better than the mannequin — but not by much.

When the task is over, Rhys states that they’d hated it, and that it was the worst task that they’d done.

In the studio, Tom Gleeson notes that Rhys uses self-deprecating humour in their stand-up, and explains that they just needed to turn that self-loathing on others in order to roast them. Rhys responds simply that that would kill them.

Rhys’ average response time is 46.4 seconds, which earns them 1 point.
