Aaron’s contrasting books

Aaron brings in two books to be read together: Fight Like a Girl by Clementine Ford, and 12 Rules for Life by Jordan B Peterson. He suggests that the contrast between the two titles would spark discussion.
When Tom Gleeson jokes that no-one who watches Channel 10 can even read, Aaron thanks him for proving that the books are effective conversation starters.
Rhys chimes in, stating that if gender is a spectrum, then these two books represent the very ends of it. Aaron says that he imagines that reading either one of the books on the street would pigeonhole a person, but carrying both would make people wonder “What are you?”.
Aaron wins the task and earns 5 points.
