Rhys senses the presence of fake moustaches

Rhys begins on the right-hand side and, after being told by Tom Cashman to “disengage from the hand” quips that Tom sounded just like their fiancé. They correctly guess that the glove contains dice, and make a wild (but correct) guess that the next one contains fake moustaches.

Describing the next glove as “circular and cold”, they correctly identify the contents as frozen calamari. They follow this with guesses of wood chips and an automatic car key. After Tom uses a hairdryer on the next glove, Rhys correctly says that it contains air. They also correctly guess that the next glove contains jelly, but are wrong with their following guesses of rubber bands and mousse. Rhys then correctly identifies the contents of a glove as apple, but incorrectly guesses baked goods for the next one.

While squeezing the second glove from left, they correctly identify that it contains hundreds and thousands, but then incorrectly guess that it contains cookie batter. Their final guess, for the left-most glove, is mud.

As they leave the lab, Rhys throws their washing up glove at Tom, which lands inside-out on the floor.

In the studio, Rhys says they can’t believe they guessed fake moustaches without knowing the ‘Movember’ clue. After stating that they don’t support charities, Tom Cashman quickly points out that he does (referencing Pete’s donation on his behalf in the previous task).

Tom Gleeson awards half a correct guess to Rhys for their guess of “wood chips and a car key” for one of the gloves, so Rhys completes the task with six-and-a-half correct answers and earns 4 points.
