Josh embarrasses himself in front of a Swede

Josh immediately voices his concern that the task is “impossible”.

In the studio, when prompted by Greg about how uncomfortable he seemed with the task, he reveals that it was the worst ten minutes of his life.

Back in the lab, Josh awkwardly tries to initiate some embarrassing topics of conversation, beginning by asking Fred if he’s ever had sex (“yes”), and then if he’s seen any of the (1970s soft porn) Emmanuel movies (“no”).

He then asks Fred how he imagines Alex Horne’s naked body (he never had, and apparently declines to comment any further).

Sticking with the theme of nakedness, Josh then asks Fred how he feels about communal showers (“no problem with that”).

He then asks who would be Fred’s ideal celebrity “to bed”. In response to Fred’s non-committal response, Josh suggests Claudia Winkleman, inadvertently revealing that he personally finds the TV presenter attractive himself.

All in all, it seems that Josh is more embarrassed by the whole experience than Fred is, and he leaves the lab defeated and flustered, accidentally ripping down some of the plastic sheeting in the process.

Back in the studio, Alex reports that Josh managed to get Fred’s face to the shade of “Jasmine shimmer”, a paler shade than the other contestants, and he places last in the task.
