Mehdi relentlessly tortures himself

Mehdi is aware that pulling out nose hairs is a method often used to instigate tears, so sets about assaulting his nostrils with a pair of tweezers, and is somewhat successful.

He then eats a spoonful of Tabasco sauce before resuming the attack on his nose hairs.

He then adds classical background music for emotional effect, and tears out a couple more nose hairs, before eating a small spoonful of ground black pepper.

While poking what he describes as a 'baster' into his eye (it's unclear whether the intent was to blow air in, or suck tears out...), he realises that the end of it had somehow been contaminated with Tabasco.

After a moment, he decides to capitalise on this painful discovery, and rubs some Tabasco directly into the corner of his eye.

He then places his eye directly over the eggcup and is able to catch some (presumably spicy) tears.

Through his combination of self-torture methods, he is able to collect a total of ten tears, and wins the task.
