Kristoffer ends up with a ladder

Kristoffer leaves the lab to find something else magnetic, and returns with a small porcelain cup, which he soon discovers does not qualify.

He then considers fetching the refrigerator from the kitchen, but acknowledges the possibility that it might be a lot of effort for no reward, if it is not magnetic.

He leaves the lab and returns with a rifle, which he suspends from the magnet, pointing directly at Olli.

He then attaches a stepladder to the magnet, and suspends a few non-metallic things from the stepladder (a hose, some ropes).

After the ladder is dislodged, he reattaches it with just some chain and a single length of rope suspended from it.

The total weight of the objects is 16.2kg, earning him second place.
