Matthieu's dead grandfather

Matthieu brings in a photo of his late grandfather, whom he says is now "shining bright in the firmament".

When he begins to try to suggest that what his grandfather would have most wanted would be for him to receive five points, Christine interrupts to suggest that he would have wanted Matthieu to join him in the afterlife instead.

Louis punishes Matthieu's attempt at emotional manipulation by awarding him last place.
