Marcus sings about baba ganoush

Marcus' chosen item is a can of baba ganoush.

He accompanies himself on the church's organ, and sings a Christmas pop song.

The translated lyrics to his song are as follows:

It's the time of year when I take a shower
Baba ganoush
About the food on the table, I don't say gross
I say baba ganoush
When it's coming down the chimney I get a rush
I say ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba ganoush
This year we'll skip Donald [Duck] and Chip and Dale
I say ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba ganoush
Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba
Is the tastiest thing I know
Because it's creamy and not especially fat
Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba
Is the tastiest thing I know
Because it's creamy and not especially fat
Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba
What does it mean?
It means 'papa' in Arabic
But what the hell does 'ganoush' mean?
[spoken] Never mind. I think it means 'galoshes' or something in Persian.

In the original Swedish, his lyrics rhyme (which is difficult to do with a word like 'ganoush'), to the point where he changes the name of a cartoon character to make it rhyme ('Piff & Push' instead of 'Piff & Puff' - the Swedish names for Chip and Dale).

Note: He refers to Donald Duck and Chip and Dale because there is a cartoon compilation that has played on Christmas in Sweden every year since the early 1960s, called Kalle Anka och hans vanner onskar God Jul ['Donald Duck and His Friends Wish You Merry Christmas'].
