Igor touches the red mat

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Igor uses the paintbrushes to roll up the carpet enough that he can reach the easel and canvas. He spends much of his time painting mocking his lack of artistic skills, at one point asking if it's required to paint Ivan's head in the portrait. Igor's painting is an attempted recreation of one of the house paintings, but looks more like an evil clown, complete with red eyes. Igor earns third place – until it is revealed that all five contestants broke the rules regarding touching the red mat, after which he is awarded zero points. Interestingly, Igor is shown deliberately stepping on the red mat. In the studio, he explains that he did so because he knew everyone else would accidentally disqualify themselves, so he set out to do so deliberately. Ivan says that honesty is not appreciated on the show, and docks two points from Igor's series score.
