Igor creates a pebble-based egg timer

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Igor thinks about what he could make that, once it's done burning, the eggs would be perfectly boiled. Instead, he ends up trying to build an hourglass by using pebbles and two plastic cones. He has difficulty figuring out a way to get the pebbles to fall consistently (or at all), and runs out of time to perfect it. As such, when it's time for the egg to boil, the timer quickly fails, and the egg is left in the boiling water until most of the boiling water has evaporated, and is very hard-boiled. Despite the failure in cooking the egg, Igor earns second place.
