Lidija serenades herself

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

As she is a professional singer, it's no surprise that Lidija sings her serenade.

The translated version of the lyrics are as follows:

Lidija, oh Lidija
You are more beautiful than the most beautiful flower
Your figure and intoxicating voice awaken all the beauties of this world
Your hair is like the sun and your soul is a beautiful sea
I kiss you through the trembling of dawn.

In the studio, Ivan points out that Lidija's song sounds suspiciously like an already existing song called My Homeland. Lidija explains that she wrote the lyrics before the music. It's uncertain whether she knowingly used an existing tune or not. Lidija's writing time is not given.

She is initially awarded last place, but when she argues that Enio should receive last place because he plagiarised his lyrics, Ivan agrees. Lidija instead is awarded fourth place, presumably because Ivan believes that Lidija plagiarised her tune, whether intentionally or not.

He later justifies his score by saying that actual talent is not appreciated on Direktor Svemira, and that if anyone thinks that he is qualified to judge actual talent, they are on the wrong show.
