Doc’s ‘Mad Helmet Murderer’ kit

After reading the task brief, Doc asks whether he’s meant to buy something that pleases or angers the Taskmaster.

In the studio, Doc presents Greg with a very large box wrapped in gold paper. As Greg reveals that the box contains a crash helmet and a cricket bat, Doc shares that he’d gone out on a limb based on something Greg had said in an interview.

Greg reveals that the items Doc has bought him were the equipment need to play a game that he, his friend Mark Andrews, and his sister had made up, when they were kids. Named ‘Mad Helmet Murderer’, the game apparently involved his 11-year-old sister wearing the helmet, while Greg and his friend would jump out with cricket bats and smash her over the head.

Greg thanks Doc for doing some research, and awards Doc third place.
