Richard’s charitable act

In the studio, Richard claims that £20 was not enough to spend on someone like Greg, and reveals that he’d therefore made a series of “rash” bets on some professional darts matches which meant he’d ended up with a total of £250 instead.

He then reveals that he’d given this money, in the Taskmaster’s name, to a charity called ‘Child’s i Foundation’ which cares for abandoned children in Uganda.

When Richard then plays a short video of a lady from the charity thanking Greg for his support, Greg pulls a face indicating that’s he is not impressed.

Greg acknowledges that Richard’s gift is “worthy and creative”, adding that a lot of people therefore wouldn’t put it in last place (implying that he will). When he then wrestles with how to score the gift, Richard points out that it doesn’t really matter, as the charity has already received the donation.

Greg ultimately decides to award Richard first place.
