Guy writes a repetitive song about Libya

Guy hits Libya with his dart.

He introduced his song by claiming that it’s “a song to unite the people with the spirit of the country of Libya”.

He initially sings acapella, clapping to keep time, then picks up a tambourine while Paul plays a solo on his keyboard. The lyrics to his song are as follows:

Are you ready for some fun,
And a song about Libya?
Are you ready for some fun,
And a song about Libya?
It’s a country in our hearts,
And our soul. Long live Libya.

At this point, Paul stops playing and blows his whistle, since Guy’s time has already run out. Guy attempts to finish his song in his own time, while smashing a ukulele and a guitar against the desk, until Paul asks him to leave.

Guy then continues his repetitive song in the studio, encouraging the audience to join in. Paul reveals that the full version of the song had been 5 minutes and 37 seconds long.

Jeremy describes Guy’s performance as the “least musical” of all the anthems, and awards him just 1 point.
