Simon slices his food item in twain

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Simon chooses the ping pong paddle and the sausage. The casing is tougher than he expected, but he is able to saw through it in the allotted time. Simon’s sausage halves weigh 374g and 371g, for a difference of 3g. Simon wins the task.
