Nina's cigarette butt
Nina brings in a cigarette butt from the gutter, which has lipstick on the filter.
She argues that lipstick is a motif of elegance and beauty, and a cigarette butt is the opposite of that, which increases the contrast.
Tom Gleeson argues that the only thing it represents is a woman who's made a poor health choice.
Nina therefore earns fourth place.
