Luke flies a thong
Luke decides to throw the flip-flop as far as he can, from the balcony of the house, and have Tom Cashman hit it yet further with a cricket bat.
The flaw with this plan is that Tom has trouble being in the right location to hit the flip-flop and then, even when he is, can't necessarily hit it very far.
In the studio, Tom confirms that he doesn't even play cricket, but also reveals that Luke's longest flip-flop flight was 40.38 metres. Luke therefore earns second place in the task.
